Scope and Content

Crucial entry - Mary, dr. of L.D. married to John Higgon, February 8 1762, [Mary, not Margaret, as in Pedigrees, 46]. Interesting too is the information that Mary, dr. of John Higgon, was married (29 November 1784) to her cousin Owen Owen, surgeon, of Beaumaris, son of Owen Owen of Glynafon, Rhos-y-meirch [cp. Pedigrees, 51, where Mr. J.E. Griffith is unaware who exactly this [first] wife of O.O. was].
