Scope and Content

Includes one letter dated 30 December 1941 (GDN/338/2/8) and two unsigned handwritten notes (GDN/338/2/12-13).

Handwritten and copy letters exchanged between W.P. Crozier and M. Philips Price, discussing the content of an article on the Philips family published by the Guardian, and clarifying the terms of publication. Two unsigned handwritten notes are included, referring to the source material and structure of the article. One letter (GDN/338/2/10) is dated 4 January 1941, but appears to address the article on the Philips family.

There is also an exchange between Crozier and Philips Price regarding a radio broadcast Philips Price gave on the Russian 'October Revolution,' relating the broadcast to Philips Price's time as a Guardian foreign correspondent.

Dated from Taynton, Gloucester, and the Guardian offices in Manchester.
