Miscellaneous deeds and documents comprising schedules of title-deeds of the Maenol estate, 1746-1908; a bond of indemnity, etc., and general release, 20 Jan. 1753, from Elinor Davies of Llanidloes, widow, to Hugh Evans of the same, skinner, touching the distribution of the estate of her husband David Davies late of Llanidloes, skinner, dec.; a bond, 17 July 1798, from David Evans of Llanidloes, tawer, to allow Richard Bottrel, his apprentice, at the end of the first three of seven years to leave his service and use the remaining four years in the trade of the tawer or dresser of white leather; articles of agreement, 1 Aug. 1805, for the purchase by David Evans of Llanidloes, skinner, of Sir Edward Pryce Lloyd of Pengwern, co. Flint, bart, of the Old Brewhouse at the bottom of Long Bridge Street, Llanidloes; deeds relating to properties in p. Carno, 1818, the Methodist Chapel in Much Wenlock, Shropshire, 1823 (copy), and properties in St Harmon, co. Rad., 1879; fire insurance policy (Salop Fire Office), 26 Dec. 1833, in respect of the dwelling-house of Thomas Evans, Cefn-y-fode, p. Evan Owen Phillips to let to Messrs Vivian and Co., Portmadoc, a portion of a field called Brynddu, p. Llanidloes, for erecting thereon a store for mixed explosives under the Explosives Act 1875; 'Appropriate Account C.' [1897] of Evan Owen Phillips, dec., in respect of Trecwn, Tyllwyd Back, Trecwnfach, Bryntirion, Bryntirion Lodge, Penpark, and Bryndeifo, p. St Dogmaels, and three fields at St Davids, all in co. Pemb.; a receipt, 31 Dec. 1935, for the purchase by Mrs M. E. Phillips, dec., per Messrs Drivers, Jonas, and Co., of Llanidloes, of Sir Watkin Williams Wynn, bart, of the chief rent of Tycoch, Coedmawr, Hendy, a m., The New Inn, and Cefnhafodau on the Maenol estate.
