Scope and Content

Hulme Hall is a hall of residence located in Victoria Park, Manchester. Originally a private hall for men, with close connections to the Church of England, it was transferred to University ownership in 1962, and is now a mixed hall. The Committee was set up in 1962, following the University's assumption of ownership. The Committee oversaw the general administration and financial management of the Hall, and from 1967 reported to the Hall Council. A House Committee (later Residence Committee) dealt with more routine housekeeping matters and reported to this Committee.

Minutes are indexed and signed. Minutes for 1976-1981 are currently missing.
