Subjects include: moving home (8 Jan); visit of Lord Roberts of Kandahar (5 May); army recruits drilling in recreation ground (16 May); family holiday to Rothesay (14 - 28 Jun); fire in Preston Street (25 Jul); disaster at Bishopbriggs Colliery (4 Aug); report of a local murder-suicide (24 Oct); Govanhill election (4 Nov) and the first pair of trousers for his son (22 Nov).
