Subjects include: end of engineering lock-out (13 Jun); holiday to Largs (17 - 30 Jun); re-opening of the subway by Glasgow Corporation (2 Jul); jubilee of the Glasgow tram cars which are flying flags in honour of the occasion (28 Aug); the development of his international stamp collection (31 Aug); air race from London to Glasgow (8 Sep); burning of the Veritas gas mantle building (11 Sep); his son elected as assistant scout at his Son of Temperance meeting (12 Sep); attendance at the House or Ideal Home Exhibition (19 Oct) and the general election (15 Nov).
