APPOINTMENT by Emma Owen Gilbert, wife of James Anthony Gilbert, esquire, Captain in H M Artillery, of Cheltenham, Gloucester, to her husband of a life interest in her share of properties willed in trust by her father, James Rice Williams of Lee, Kent, to his daughters Rose Chitty Williams, Emma Owen Williams now Gilbert, Katherine Maria Williams, and Lucy Johanna Potter Williams. Will of James Rice Williams in part recited. The properties consisted of 2 dwelling houses in Upper Thames St and another tenement on south side of the above dwelling houses and next to the river Thames, in the parish of Saint Peter Pauls Wharf in the City of London.
