Wallace was Kings Counsel and Chairman of the Newington Sessions. Copy of letter. Explaining why he had not sent the enclosed letter dated 29 Mar 1912 and thanking him for the fact that his letter appears at last to have induced the Home Secretary to grant to the Suffragette prisoners the facilities to which they were entitled under the old rules as political prisoners, and to release Nurse Pitfield. Copy of letter also present.
