No date, not signed, no addressee but obviously Nelly to her sister Mrs Wilks [probably soon after she went in on the 4th]. She has made a great muddle over Dr. Louisa Garrett Anderson's medical books which were intended to be sent to Dr. Wilks but which she had mistakenly addressed to Dr GA at Holloway forgetting she was a 'hard labour person' [see card probably from Dr GA to Dr. Wilks, no date, not signed, in which she says 'very best thanks for trouble over books - safely received at last] Says that the prison doctor is all powerful, indeed he is at the moment acting as Governor.
[Nelly] to [Mrs Wilks]
