Scope and Content

1 Benjamin Brock the younger, formerly of 14 Bedford Square, Middlesex, now of Upper Stamford Street, co. Surrey, articled clerk. 2 Edward Drake Brockman of Hythe, Kent, esq. 3 Phillips Monypenny of the same, esq. Grant by 1 to 2 of an annuity of £37 charged on the estate and Demise by 1 to 3, as trustee, of the said estate for 100 years, for better securing the annuity to 2. Consideration: £400. Endorsed with a Notice, dated 23 June 1876, that the properties so charged, were conveyed to Sarah Brock of Abernant House, Aberdare, co. Glam., on trust for sale, by indenture of 7 Oct. 1785 (see no. 13); also endorsed with a Memorandum, dated 7 Sept. 1876, that by an indenture of 9 Aug. 1876, a farm called Gilfach, p. Llanfihangel Rhosycorn, co. Carm., being part of the properties conveyed herein were granted to James Beynon of Bwlchcoed, p. Llanfihangel ar arth, co. Carm.; further endorsed with a note that a memorial of the deed was enrolled in the Court of Chancery pursuant to an Act of Parliament, and that it was used in law suits in 1853 and 1855.
