From A W Haslett, of Penguin Science News asks if Turing would write an article on recent developments in logic; the newsletter has a high circulation, and a non-expert readership. He wants an article of about 6-6500 words, for which they would pay 40 guineas. Turing says he would like to do this, but would prefer to write on "Unsolvable problems" as he is "rather out of touch with logic as a whole".
Turing's article was published as "Solvable and unsolvable problems" in Penguin Science News 31, 1954.
