Scope and Content

The latter surrendered Twr Llachaid (here Twr Llachiad), with other parcels of land in Llanwenllwyfo, also messuages and tenements in Llanrhwydrus, in return for premises in Llanrhwydrus and Llanfair-yn-neubwll. It was evidently in pursuance of a desire to consolidate to some extent the two estates, as there is frequent references in the document to lands "lying in or intermixed with" the respective properties.
