The series contains a TS of ‘The bald twit lion’, a children’s book written by Milligan and included as the third part of ‘A book of Milliganimals’, photocopies of two TS drafts and a handwritten MS of the same work, and photocopied MS illustrations from it. It also includes a photocopy of a handwritten MS of ‘Milliganimals’, also part of 'A book of Milliganimals', and a drawing relating to this work. Contained in a box file with an original handwritten label by Milligan, somewhat faded: ‘MILLIGANimals | Bald Twit | Lion | Drawings Missing | Dec 1980 [these last two lines in red, added later]’. At the bottom of the label, the number ‘28’. Overlaid with another label, on which the writing is too faded to read.
