The file contains an MS draft of the book ‘Dip the puppy’, a photocopy of the actual MS with illustrations and a TS draft of ‘The terrible monster jelly’, a different story in the same book. Contained in a box file with an original handwritten label by Milligan: ‘Copy of | Dip the Puppy | + | drawings [these last added in a different colour] | original hand | written ms. | lost [this or something underneath crossed out] | [in a different colour from here] No documentation | as to where it went | + | The Monster Jelly | drawings by Jane | Lost! [underlined]’. This label has overlaid previous one, the writing on which is not clearly visible but seems to contain a similar indication of contents.
