Scope and Content

Two post mortem ross drawings of the brainstem and cerebellum, one lateral and one posterior view, showing the effects of a fourth ventricle tumour. Annotations on the back read "Miss patient's surname PPH case ependymoma", "Jefferson", and "53030224". PPH refers to the Private Patients' Home attached to the Manchester Royal Infirmary at this time.

Typed label attached to the bottom of the object in the centre.

Initialled by the artist in the bottom right corner.

Labels on the drawing are as follows: Open IV ventricle, tumour held back, tumour spreading into restiform body, and medulla distended by intrinsic glioma.
