Scope and Content

Ross drawing of mid brain. Annotations on the back read "Patient's name 367/53, drawn 24.1.53, subdural haematoma (chronic), 55091001" and "Johnson & Yates Clinico-pathological aspects of pressure changes at the tentorium Fig. 6". Drawn by one of Dorothy Davison's students.

This image features as figure 6a in the publication R.T. Johnson & P.O. Yates, 'Clinico-pathological aspects of pressure changes at the tentorium', Acta Radiologica, 1956, 46, pp.242-9, in which it is described as follows: "Chronic bilateral subdural haematoma, section of mid brain at tentorial level under surface of cerebral hemispheres".
