Administrative / Biographical History

I.F.G. Stott was a missionary with the Church of Scotland, 1927-1930. He worked in Nyasaland as Superintendent of Education, and Education Officer, Northern Province, 1931-1939, then Education Officer, Central Province, and Acting Principal, Jeanes Training Centre, 1943-1945. He was Provincial Education Officer, Central Province, later Senior Education Officer, 1945-1950, Acting Deputy Director of Education, Zomba, 1951, and Provincial Education Officer and Senior Education Officer, Central and Southern Provinces, 1951-1954.
