Administrative / Biographical History
William J. MIller worked in Northern Nigeria as Education Officer in Benue and Adamawa Provinces, 1952-1954 and at the Vernacular Teachers' College, Trust Territory, 1954. He served as Education Officer, later Senior Education Officer, Adanawa, Benue, Zaria and Borno Provinces, 1955-1960. He was Principal Education Officer, later at the Institute of Administration, Ahmadu Bello University, 1960-1968. Between 1968 and 1976 he was Principal Education Officer, Chief Education Officer, Deputy Chief Inspector of Education, and Chief Inspector of Education.
