Administrative / Biographical History

Mrs. Mary Hargrave worked as headmistress at a Methodist girls' school and Government primary school in the Gambia, 1945-1949. In Nigeria, she served as Woman Education Officer at the Women's Training Centre, Sokoto, 1950-1951, Men's Elementary Training Centre, Bauchi, 1951-1954 and Women's Training Centre, Kano, 1955-c1958, and as Principal, Provincial Girls' School, Kontagora, c1959-1960.
