Manuscript notes in Robert Riddell's copy of Pennant's A tour in Scotland. 1776. Also a letter from Thomas Pennant to Robert Riddle, 31 August 1790. (Tipped in Mu6-d.9) and copies of original drawings by Moses Griffith, Pennant's draughtsman on his tour, not all of which were engraved for publication in the volumes. The copies were made by Thomas Cocking in 1790
