Administrative / Biographical History
Born in Carlisle in 1951, Jane Martindale attended Oakdene School and Bedford College of Physical Education, qualifying as a Physical Education teacher. She taught at Wycombe Abbey School for 36 years, retiring in 2014.
Jane Martindale played lacrosse at all levels including for Pendley Lacrosse Club, Worcestershire and the Midlands before beginning an 11-year playing career with England in 1972. She was appointed coach for the England team in 1984.

The papers were gifted to the University of Bedfordshire by Jane Martindale on 22 October 2015, under Accession No. AWL2015/010.
