Administrative / Biographical History
Sue Redfern was involved in lacrosse administration and organisation for over 50 years at all levels of the sport including team, tournament and league management, from local to international, culminating in her appointment as World Cup Co-ordinator for the 2001 International Federation of Women's Lacrosse Associations (IFWLA) Women's World Cup held in High Wycombe, England.
She held numerous national and international lacrosse leadership positions including Chair of the All England Women's Lacrosse Association (1985-89), Board Chair of the English Lacrosse Association (2011-16), Vice-President (Administration) of the IFWLA (2001-08) participating in its transition to the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL), Official Representative from England to the FIL (2011-17) and in 2017 was elected as FIL President.

The papers were gifted to the University of Bedfordshire by Sue Redfern on 12 December 2013, under Accession No. AWL2013/002.
