Letter relating to a request for Darby’s advice on the matter of divorce, with discussion of scripture. The letter also states that it encloses a letter from Timothy [unknown], the affected party, but that letter is not included. Letter written from Hamilton, Canada, to Exeter, Devon. England.

Also included on the envelope is a handwritten note [By John Nelson Darby?] which reads ‘answered and [unknown] sent back’.
