Scope and Content

Memoranda and reports concerning the London Travel Survey and arrangements for the Chairman's speech to the Institute of Transport. Includes drafts of a number of bulletins of the Survey including bulletin 1 concerning the intentions of the survey, bulletin 2 discussing why people travel regularly by London Transport services, bulletin three regarding further aspects of the journey to work, bulletin 4A and 4B concerning traffic flows between areas of Greater London with details of the purposes of the journeys made and the different areas of London with a map, and bulletin seven concerning conclusions drawn from the study. Also includes a booklet entitled 'The Social Aspects of Urban Travel'.
