Daily administrative journal of the Poplar Almshouse, February 1848-October 1865. The journal provides brief entries for the deaths of inmates, new inmates, letters sent, staff administration. Entries are signed by the Chaplain, Frederick Hamilton, until 1855, then by R.B. Bosworth until 1860.
Dating: the paper is watermarked 1846.
