Two letters from Samuel Tuke to unnamed recipients. One dated 1834 giving much incidental information about other Quakers but including a detailed analysis of Samuel Tuke's theological position during the Hicks debate which led to the Beaconite split. The second letter of 1848 gives Tuke's excuses for not attending a peace meeting and includes a statement of the Quaker position on war.
