Printed manuscript of ‘Treatment of Epileptics in York Asylums 1847-1899’ by Roy and Carolyn Terry (2014) with birth, marriage and death certificates for many patients included in the study. Asylums studied include The Retreat, York Lunatic Asylum (later Bootham Park Hospital), and North Riding Lunatic Asylum (later Clifton Hospital).
