1 John Buller Pearse of Honiton, Devon, gent. 2 Richard Smith, Elijah Brooke and James Townsend, all of the same place, bankers and carpenters. 3 Henry Corbin of Seaton, surgeon. 4 Thomas Bowdage of the same place, gent. Lease And Release of the property specified in Nos 177-8 of 28-9 April 1736, for some time past converted into a garden, and a piece of ground now converted into a pleasure ground in Colyton, near the dwelling-house late of William Burt with the green house thereon erected, on which formerly stood a m. belonging to Henry Symes, to uses, and grant of residues of terms in the m. and tmt formerly called the Golden Lion Inn, town of Colyton (2,000 years), the m. called a Malt House, but now consisting of a m. and blacksmith's shop in the street leading towards the Butts in Colyton, a piece of ground on which the workshop of Philip Pulman formerly stood in the said street and lately converted into a shrubbery (900 years), and a close of land called Barley Close, in or near the town of Colyton (3,000 years).
