Typed notes by W.R. Brock, regarding the correspondence of Anne Grant, 1811-35. Papers are held by Massachusetts historical society. Brock only has the following to say about the correspondence;
This collection consists of twenty five letters from Anne Grant, the Scottish authoress, to a number of American friends. The recipients include T.S. Cogwell, George Ticknor, Mrs Francis C. Lowell, Edward Everitt and John C. Warren. The letters deal mostly with Edinburgh society gossip, Mrs Grant's reminiscences, and events in Scottish university and intellectual circles. [S.d.]
