This subfonds comprises items relating to published collections of Geoffrey Hill's poetry, covering the period from prior to the publication of his first major collection, 'For the Unfallen' (1959) to the publication of 'A Treatise of Civil Power' (Penguin, 2007). As such it represents 13 published collections, and 3 volumes of collected poems. Items include drafts and clean copies of individual poems and collections, proofs, reviews, and a small amount of correspondence.
