Personal and miscellaneous items relating to Geoffrey Hill, including items relating to his time as a pupil at Bromsgrove County High School, clippings and other items collected by Hill relating to Bromsgrove, photographs, degree certificates, copies of CVs, items relating to an event at Boston University to mark Hill's retirement, papers relating to interviews conducted between ca. 1964 and 1981, short self-introductions and statements by Hill on his writing and teaching, and a poem by Alice Goodman.

Access to this part of the collection is restricted under the Data Protection Act. You will need to complete a restricted access form and return it to Special Collections for review by staff before access can be granted.

Digital photography is strictly prohibited. Photocopying is restricted and the photocopying of correspondence is prohibited. Enquiries relating to the photocopying of material should be addressed to the Head of Special Collections at Leeds University Library in the first instance. Direct quotation from manuscripts by Geoffrey Hill is permitted in unpublished PhD theses. The permission of the copyright holder must be sought for the use of quotations from manuscripts by Geoffrey Hill for works intended for publication.
