Loose material from Charles Causley, Collected poems, 1951-1975 (London; Basingstoke: Macmillan, 1975), consisting of a letter to Nicholson from Causley, relating to: his review of a book by Nicholson in the Guardian; his thoughts on both the poems and the illustrations in Stitch and stone [a book containing six specially commissioned poems by Nicholson, with reproductions of embroidered landscapes by Ingleton artist Kenneth Dow Barker, published by Ceolfrith Press in 1975]; his plans to include some of Nicholson's poems in a Puffin sea anthology he is editing; and his Collected poems, of which Nicholson has been sent a copy.
