Letter from Syed Maratib Ali in Lahore to Auchinleck, in reply to ALI/55d above, describing the situation at Qaidabad Carpets as volatile. He explains that it is possible that the Government will provide them with machinery and that the report on this matter has been delayed due to Colonel Wright's suffering from malaria. He also says that there is a possibility that the machinery at the Chenab Woollen Mills may not be suitable for producing fine yarn on and that the contribution from His Highness the Amir of Bahwalpur has been delayed.
