Letter from Auchinleck in Lahore to Syed Maratib Ali, regarding a proposal to start a modern carpet industry in Pakistan and enquiring as to whether he would wish to have a financial interest in the company and would consent to act as a Director. He explains that the Memorandum and Articles of Association for the company have been drafted, that the registration and formation of the company is proceeding and that the site of the factory at Qaidabad has been reserved with arrangements in hand for its purchase. Also with the letter is a plan showing the factory site and the location of housing quarters. Typescript.
