ii. 9 November 1839 - Bolton-le-Sands - Publications. (Note from W.P. re. Welwitsch).

iii. 24 November 1839 - Bolton-le-Sands - Drège's Cape plants, Abyssinian collections, Bentham. Gardner's Brazilian plants and news of Dr. Steudel and Abyssinian plants. (Reply by W.P.).

iv. 13 July 1844 - Bolton-le-Sands - "Reliquiae Cunninghamiae" evident that the species are from the vicinity of Sydney not Norfolk Island as indicated. Linden's parcel. Publications.

v. 16 October 1844 - Bolton-le-Sands - Lehmann's "Plantae Preissianae."
