Audio-visual material and associated papers relating to D.H. Lawrence, c.1950-2002

Scope and Content

The group comprises audio and video recordings relating to D.H. Lawrence. Also present are papers relating to audio and video broadcasts and productions, including scripts, photographs and press reports.

Administrative / Biographical History

This is an artificial group. It consists primarily of audio and video recordings relating to Lawrence, brought together by the curators because of their common medium. These are supplemented by other material, including copies of scripts and ephemera related to audio recordings, broadcasts and film productions concerning Lawrence. Audio visual material which naturally belongs within a larger archive group has not been moved to join the La Av series, but can be found in its appropriate context (see e.g. within La Ch).

Arrangement

The collection is arranged into the three following groups; audio recordings, video recordings and related papers.
