Vulgate Bible with illuminated capitals and miniatures. According to a Leonine verse in Latin at the end, the manuscript was copied for use at the monastery of St. Pierre-sur-Dives in Normandy, at the instructions of Abbot Jacobus. The scribe was a lame monk from Fecamp known as "G" and it took over 3 years to finish. Many of the capitals are faces of the monks. The volume is not complete.
