Scope and Content

Kodak Research Laboratories, Harrow, Open House, November 1963, Marking the occasion of the completion of the fifth major extension to the laboratory buildings. Includes plans of the building. The Research Laboratories were started in 1928 and the building erected in 1934 with additions in 1940, 1955, 1958 and 1960. The last building was occupied from 1961 but was only brought into full use in 1963. The buildings had a total floor area of 70,000 sq. ft. and staff of about 300. Subject(s): Research; Premises.
