Letter from Lord Penrhyn to W.Rathbone

In reply to W.Rathbone's letter of December 19 thanks W.Rathbone for his offer of aid. States that his concern over his workers well-being if anything should happen to the slate industry. States that he is willing to assist in the development of technical education but has promised to help with the Intermediate School and cannot commit himself to further projects until all the schemes under discussion have been discussed and decided upon.
