States the developments since Lord Penrhyn's letters of December 27 1891 and February 18, 1892. The quarrymen have raised approximately £1000 and have offered to level the recreational grounds of the new school. Refers to the proposed disestablishment of the Church by Mr. Lloyd George and the Conservative victory which puts this out of the picture. Mr. Prichard (Manager of the Quarries) has been made Chairman of the governing body. States Rathbone's and Tate's involvement. They are willing to go up to £1000 if the locality itself furnishes the minimum required by the scheme. Hopes for a building grant from the department of Science and Art. Mr. Tate and W.Rathbone spending £200-£300 more than they thought. The architect is very anxious to add a heating chamber which would cost £200 but would save £40 per annum. Asks if Lord Penrhyn would be willing to provide the heating chamber or would he prefer to enclose and layout the playground.
