Article 1 : Reporting on the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony at Bethesda. Bethesda Intermediate School is the first to be built under the scheme. The pioneer of the movement is named as Mr. W.Rathbone. Gives details of the temporary school, the possession and decoration. Refers to the speeches of Mr.Rathbone and Lord Penrhyn. Gives details of the silver trowel given to Lady Penrhyn. Details the schools layout.

Article 2 : Details of a meeting held by Flintshire County Council on temporary schools and finances. States the money they have received they plan to spend wholly between the Intermediate and Technical Schools with the interest earned on the sum spent on preliminary classes that had been held prior to the opening of the technical education classes. Also, refers to an application from Holywell governors to commence a school on temporary premises.
