Publications

These records consist of the published output of the BBC and include books, magazines, concert programmes, educational broadcasting pamphlets, posters and other publicity material, newsletters and reports. The records were mainly generated by the BBC Publications Department and its successors including BBC Enterprises and BBC Worldwide, but they also include records created and published by other individual BBC departments (E.g. BBC Monitoring, BBC Publicity, BBC Engineering.) Most of the records were originally made available to the public either for sale or freely distributed, but some were only circulated internally within the BBC. The administrative records of these departments are not included here, only the final published product.

This sub-fonds is arranged into six sub-sub-fonds: Individual Publications, Serial Publications, Schools Publications, Concert Programmes, Publicity and Summaries of World Broadcasts.
