Manuscript item bound in a volume of printed pamphlets.
Text written in the hand of Thomas Bowdler (1638-ca.1700) on the fly-leaf of the volume and on blank pages at the end of tracts and blank leaves inserted throughout the volume. A note has usually been made at the foot of each of these pages of text giving the page number where the text continues.
First line of text on 1st fly-leaf reads:'Epilogus. Historiola hujus primum autographum, dum sub manu ...'. In manuscript index at end of Tact 129 listed as:'Elenchus motuum. written in many parts of this book'.
