Relates to the invention, patenting, manufacture, development, sales, maintenance, working and shipping of machines; in particular heckling machines patented by Peter Carmichael and Marsden with references to competition from other manufacturers. Includes a letter to Marsden from Messrs Poole and Carpmael, Lincolns Inn, regarding patents in Ireland, Belgium and France; also letter from James Coombe and Co, Belfast.
