Scope and Content

Letter: Lance Corporal R. A. Hughes of the Ordnance Survey, Mount Villa, Llanidloes, to Lewis Pugh, esq., of Abermad, Llanfarian RSO. Inquires whether the recipient would raise any objection to their adopting the new boundary between co's Mont. and Card., erected after the trial between the Crown and Sir W. W. Wynn in 1862, on the Ordnance Survey Plans. Appended:. Tracing illustrating the different lines of boundary between p. Llangurig in co. Mont. and p. Llanbadarn Fawr in co. Card., compiled from the parish and tithe maps of the said parishes and an estate map belonging to Sir W. W. Wynne and describing the new boundary as settled in 1862.
