LETTER: Ellis John Troughton at Barbados to his Aunt Mrs. Troughton at Beaumaris. Says that he has received a letter and a round of beef from Mr. Allott but has not heard anything about the £30 his Aunt was to have sent him. Mentions the failure of James Kenyon, '.... and by all Accounts he has behaved very badly...' Complains that his salary is low and ' .. will never keep me in Clothes... my Stockings Breeches and Coats are very bad indeed....'. Ends by asking about his friends in Anglesey.
