[Frank] Baker and [Wesley] Swift of the Wesley Historical Society believe there should be a continuation of the index of obituaries and local histories contained in the Methodist Magazine 1778-1839, which index was published in 1909. They also think Shaw might undertake the task, although it is as yet unclear whether they envisage that such an index should include all the various Connexional magazines.
