The correspondence throws light on Carsten’s involvement in two publication projects of The Wiener Library including the planned Dokumentenwerk, a work on persecution and extermination of European Jewry between 1933 and 1945, as well as On the Track of Tyranny, a book published on occasion of Leonard Montefiore's 70th anniversary. In both cases Carsten’s contribution comprised editorial and authorial works.
