Scope and Content

Correspondence regarding various issues related with the political situation in West Germany, including: an article for the AJA Quarterly on the development of Germany since the end of the Second World War (1956); the attendance of AJA meetings by Library’s staff members (1960); or an enquiry on former Nazis holding official positions in West Germany (1961).

Administrative / Biographical History

Founded in 1871 the Anglo-Jewish Association (AJA) is a British organisation to represent Jewish interests, and to facilitate education by operating a network of Jewish schools across the British Empire.
