Custodial History
After the death of David Roberts in 1890, the papers passed to his wife, and then to his son, David Prosser Roberts, and his grandson, David George Prosser Roberts, who bequeathed them to his wife, who gave the papers to Dr D. J. Harris. David Prosser Roberts and David George Prosser Roberts were interested in genealogy, and were presumably responsible for the addition of post-1890 items to the archive.
